    JAMSTARS is a group of amateur and professional rocketeers who are donating their time to assist University and High School Students in the implementation of Rocketry Projects. The numbers of involved Amateurs and Students grows every year. We began with a small project in 2000 with a rocket using only 360 Pound-seconds of thrust to the 2003 JAMSTAR booster with 18,000 Pound-seconds of thrust.

    This year(2004) we begin our first collaborative assault on Space (62.5 miles due up). The "Race To Black." See our Projects Section for more detail. Many Government groups have been there before, but not on our budget.

    It is our hope that 'Rocket Science' becomes as inspirational, educational and entertaining as it was in the early 60's and 70's when the world was thrilled by man's first steps into space and onto another world.
